These terms govern the Inner Calling Scholarship, a skill-based contest run by Guru Singh LLC, trading as Kundalini University ("we", "us", "Kundalini University"). By submitting an application you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted them.
We have written these in plain language because clarity is one of our values and because you deserve to know exactly what you are entering. If anything here is unclear, write to us at connect@kundaliniuniversity.com and we will answer.
The Inner Calling Scholarship is promoted and administered by Guru Singh LLC, trading as Kundalini University.

You may apply if you are aged 18 or over on the date you submit your application.
The scholarship is open worldwide. Both trainings are delivered online in English, and applicants should be able to participate in English.
You may not apply if you are a current employee, contractor, or faculty member of Kundalini University, or an immediate family member of one.
One application per person. Where we identify duplicate applications from the same person, we will consider only the first one received and disregard the rest.
If you are already enrolled in the October 2026 cohort of either training, you are not eligible to win a scholarship for that same training. You remain eligible to receive a referral prize.
Applications open on Monday 7 September 2026.
Applications close on Sunday 20 September 2026 at 11:59 PM Pacific Standard Time.
The window is fourteen days and it will not be extended. Applications submitted after the closing time cannot be considered, whatever the reason.
Only complete applications are eligible. An application is complete when every required field has been answered.
Two scholarships are awarded.
Scholarship One ~ Kundalini Foundations, 200-Hour Registered Teacher Training. Approximate retail value $3,500 USD.
Scholarship Two ~ Radical Expansions, 300-Hour Advanced Teacher Training. Approximate retail value $4,450 USD.
Each scholarship covers tuition in full for the cohort commencing 7 October 2026. This includes all live calls, all modules, all manuals and materials, community access, certification upon completion of requirements, and lifetime access to recordings.
Each scholarship covers tuition only. It does not include any equipment, internet access, third-party fees, taxes, or any other cost associated with participating.
Scholarships are awarded for the October 2026 cohort and cannot be deferred to a later cohort.
You select your training on the application form.
Radical Expansions (300-Hour) requires that you have already completed a 200-Hour yoga teacher training, from Kundalini University or from any other school. We may ask for evidence of this before confirming an award.
Kundalini Foundations (200-Hour) is open to everyone, including applicants entirely new to Kundalini Yoga.
You may apply for one training only.
Every complete application is read and assessed by Kundalini University on the substance of the written responses ~ the depth of what is written, the applicant's readiness for the training, and the purpose expressed.
This is a skill-based contest. Winners are chosen on the merit of their written application, not by chance, ballot, or draw.
Selection is made at the sole discretion of Kundalini University. Our decision is final and we do not enter into correspondence about individual selection outcomes.
We reserve the right to award fewer than two scholarships if, in our judgement, we do not receive applications of sufficient standard.
Winners will be contacted directly by email on or around 22 September 2026, using the email address given on the application.
If a winner cannot be reached within 72 hours of our first attempt, or declines the award, we may select an alternative recipient.
Winners will be announced publicly on 23 September 2026 across our email list, website, and social channels.
By accepting a scholarship you agree that we may publish your first name, your country, a photograph you provide, and extracts from your written application, in connection with announcing and promoting the scholarship. We will always ask before we publish, and you may decline any specific use.
If you would prefer to accept a scholarship without any public announcement, tell us and we will honour that.
The mechanic works as follows.
8.1 To be eligible for a referral prize, you must have submitted your own complete application within the window.
8.2 The person you referred must name you in the "who referred you" field on their own application. We can only award a referral prize to the person named there.
8.3 One referral prize is awarded per winning application, to the single person named in that field. Where more than one name is given, or the name given is ambiguous, we may be unable to award a referral prize.
8.4 The referral prize matches the winner's training. A referral to a 200-Hour winner receives a 200-Hour package. A referral to a 300-Hour winner receives a 300-Hour package.
8.5 If the referral prize is a 300-Hour package and the referrer has not completed a 200-Hour training, we will award the 200-Hour package instead.
8.6 There is no limit on how many people you may refer.
8.7 A referral prize carries all the same conditions as a scholarship, including that it is for the October 2026 cohort and cannot be deferred.
Everyone who submits a complete application will receive an offer from us on 23 September 2026, whether or not they win.
The details of that offer, including its value and the date it expires, will be set out in that communication. It is made available to applicants only and it is not transferable.
10.1 Prizes are not transferable and cannot be exchanged. There is no cash alternative.
10.2 Winners are solely responsible for any tax liability arising in their own jurisdiction. We recommend you take your own advice. Where required by law, we may report the value of an award to the relevant authority.
10.3 We may withdraw an award where we find that an application contained false or misleading information, was submitted through automated means, or otherwise breached these terms.
10.4 Completing a training and receiving certification requires meeting the attendance and coursework requirements of that training. A scholarship covers the cost of participation. It does not guarantee certification.
10.5 We may amend these terms where we are required to do so, or where circumstances outside our control make it necessary. Any change will be published on this page and applicants will be notified by email.
10.6 We are not responsible for applications that are not received due to technical failure, network issues, or any other cause outside our control.
10.7 Where any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining terms continue to apply.
10.8 These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from or relating to this promotion will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
We collect the information you provide on the application form ~ your name, email address, telephone number, country, and your written responses.
We use it to assess your application, to contact you about the outcome, and to send you information about our trainings and offerings. Your written responses are read by our team for the purposes of selection.
We do not sell your information and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
You may withdraw from our communications at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email, or by writing to connect@kundaliniuniversity.com. You may also ask us to delete the information we hold about you.
